Mission Statement

The Hamilton Region Branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (ACO), is a charitable organization dedicated to the promotion, interpretation and preservation of the rich architectural heritage of Hamilton and Region. Active since 1933 the ACO is the oldest provincial society dedicated to the conservation of our architectural heritage.

Working with other local heritage organizations and institutions Hamilton Region Branch ACO volunteers present an annual series of walking tours and an annual exhibition at the Art Gallery of Hamilton Community Gallery exploring the heritage architecture and landscapes of Hamilton.
